Combat
There is a fair bit of information below, about the basic introduction to combats. However, if you are wanting to find out more, the take a look at GK's (Groph King's) website. It's full of information to get you started.
Combating is where you can battle against another groph from a different user. You fight against them until one of the two have lost all their health. You can also battle against monsters in the one-player combat pit. By training up your grophs Health, Agility and Strength, you can try and get your groph to be the best there is.
Combating involves the buying of weapons, without weapons the only attack you can do is hit with your bare hands. Which doesn't take off a lot of damage! They can attack your opponent's groph or maybe even increase the health of your own groph. The better combination of weapons you use, the more likely it is you'll win.
There are several different ways you can train up your grophs stats. The first option, and perhaps one of the more popular options, would be to collect several different types of coins and go training at the training school. For each appointment you have there, you will gain 0.5 of your chosen stat. Doesn't seem like much, but it all adds up. Either that, or you can buy your groph some potions. The Thorn Potion, will add +1 to a grophs Strength and the Speed Potion will add +1 to your grophs agility.
You can also add charms, clothing and a pet to your groph. These can boost the stats slightly, giving you more of a chance to defeat you opponent.
There is now also a battle tower, on the Grophland Wurld. A place for the strongest fighters to visit. Each monster is vicious and could take out a groph in a single hit if they aren't strong enough. However at the end of each battle you could win an avatar! Also, you can win battle coins for defeating each of the monsters, apart from the first one. These battle coins can be spent in the warriors shop, a place where you can find some of the best weapons and armour on Grophland. So training up those grophs, is well worth it!
The Grophland One-Player Pit, has different opponents for EACH rank. Below is a list of what you can find there:
Rank 1: Punch Bag, Grophymime.
Rank 2: The Giant, The Hungry Plant, The Scout.
Rank 3: The Stone Golem, Sea Groll, Poidican.
Rank 4: The Master, Abyss Octopus, Phoenix, The Assassins.
Rank 5: Nullibrach's Ghost.
Rank 6: Nekhefus.
